See a slice of the real New York in the city's last remaining Little Italy. Join me for a walking tour of the Arthur Avenue neighborhood in the Bronx. I'll show you all the shops where my Italian immigrant parents went for a taste of home. Taste a ring of prosciutto bread at Addeo's Bakery and visit old-world style butcher shops where the meat has always been local and organic, long before it was fashionable.
We'll stop by Calandra's for a sample of their exquisite pecorino cheese studded with real black truffles and explore the food stalls inside the famous Arthur Avenue Retail Market. At the end of our walk we'll return to La Cantina where we will experience a wine tasting.
